Mbiospa Prestige

The Mbiospa Prestige is the spa at Le Mount Stephen. From receiption, take the stairs down one flight to get to the spa, which is next door to the gym.it’s quite cozy and has a nice waitin garea with a comfortable couch and a Christmas tree that was just put up today.

Whenever I’m staying at a nice hotel, I like to book a spa appointment and arrive early to use the spa facilities. The facilities usually have some extras, like a relaxation area with comfortable furniture, steam room, sauna, fruit water, a fire place, hot tub, and, in the case of the spa at the Aria in Las Vegas, heated stone beds and a salt room. While this was a much simpler experience as we’re at a boutique hotel and not a giant casino hotel in Las Vegas, the massage was anything but ordinary and definitely one of – if not the – best I’ve ever had.

My masseuse, Carolyn, had a followup appointment with a woman named Janet who exuded “difficult client” as she was waiting for Carolyn with visible anticipation. After my appointment, Janet was entering the spa as I went off to the bathroom. After I’d used the restroom and put my contact lenses back in, and was making my way toward the stairs to head back to our room, Janet was still bending the attendants ear about all of the trouble spots upon which she wanted Carolyn to focus.

Good luck, Carolyn, and thanks for a fantastic massage!

  1. What a beautiful Christmas tree! Sounds like it was well worth having the spa treatment. I am really enjoying your trip.
